Go to 'Past Events' in the board index to get an idea from the photos and videos of life in the 17th century. Battles, Living History and life in camp are shown. The Regiment’s Facebook shows life behind the scenes. Have a look at our Facebook, go to the gallery of photos and see what life is really like for all the family at camp.

Would you forgive yourself if you missed out on a 17th style 22 course banquet cooked by a renowned chef. Dancing ‘strip the willow’ and later, after a little wine, double strip the willow into the wee small hours and all in period costume? Waking in the morning you find a traditional break fast cooking away in the kitchen. As they say in Lancashire, it’s a stunner. It’s worth joining Hampdens just for the banquet but there is so much more to enjoy. Come on in.

Click in the photos for a full image. These photos are taken of a more sedate affair in Lichfield Guildhall of the Lord General’s banquet.
